Solo Ski Day
Sunday is my only free day. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I work in the ski shop, and have school all day on Tuesday and Thursday.
So today I slept in and went skiing for a bit. It was much needed. I've been so stressed with everything!
I broke in my new boots, which were SUPER tight at the start of the day. (sidenote: It took 25 min to wake my feet back up. Oops.) I think I finally figured out what they need to be perfect. I should also really wash my pants.
I took the Hojis out again. It feels way better skiing them now that I'm in better, more suited to me, boots. Though they did KILL me walking to the lift. Oh my goodness.
Spun a few on PK and called it good. The snow fell all day, filling in your tracks immediately after they were placed. I also got Bridger Fries, because they're my life. That's (probably) the real reason why I went skiing today. I just really love the fries.
I've gotten into podcasts recently. NPR has a quite a few that I listen to while cruising around town. Tiny Desk Concerts has been a favorite of mine for some time now, and it's the easiest to listen to driving to school.
Sometimes skiing by yourself isn't that bad. :)
